Christ Temple Community Church

District Elder Robert Holman, Sr., pastor of Christ Temple Apostolic Church in Sacramento, California, following the leading of the Lord, moved toward establishing a church in the Yuba-Sutter area in mid-1975, anointing Elder Major Terry as the pastor.  After much fasting and prayer and hard work, God blessed us with a storefront building at 420 3rd Street in Marysville.  The first service was held on January 3, 1976. 

In June of 1977, redevlopement of the Marysville downtown area caused us to look for another building.  Eld. Terry looked at moving to Yuba City.  We shared services with United Pentecostal Church in Yuba City.  That church was building a new church, and after much fasting and prayer, we were blessed to purchase the building on July 2, 1981.

After keeping the faith and fighting a good fight, God called our beloved Pastor, District Elder Major Terry, home October 29, 2004.  Promising never to see the righteous forsaken, God gave us a leader – his wife, Catherine Terry.  The transition was smooth and God is still blessing us.
